SWAT Networking is an organization of professional women that recognizes this, and helps women to succeed in business by building a supportive network of women. From the woman business owner, to the corporate marketing director, and everyone in between, SWAT offers an opportunity to meet like-minded professional women for networking, discussion and enhancing your business skills. We’re the area’s largest, and three time award winning, women’s only networking group in the area. Think of us as your mini “success group!”

How We Got Started

SWAT Networking was founded in 2010 during the recession. It was a way for local businesswomen to get together to promote their businesses, and discuss challenges they were facing. Over the years, SWAT became known for its networking lunches.

In 2020, SWAT Networking celebrated its 10 year anniversary. Amidst another challenging time for businesses, SWAT got new ownership, and a new outlook, on doing business in a completely changed world.

Today

Today, President Lisa Comeau is working on expanding SWAT’s offerings for its members to go beyond the networking lunches to include educational talks, roundtable discussions, networking happy hours, yearly mixers (to include men!), and creative partnerships to support members in their professions.

The business world is forever evolving, and SWAT Networking is evolving with it. We’re working to accommodate our members, and to doing business in today’s world. We’re not just lunches anymore.
