1. July Artwalk: Mermaids and Manatees

Friday, July 2 from 6 pm to 9:30 pm and Saturday, July 3rd from 11 am to 4 pm

The Village of the Art‘s monthly Artwalk is one of Bradenton’s most popular events. This month’s theme is Mermaids and Manatees!

Come to the VOTA and explore all of the different galleries, shops, and restaurants. There will also be live music and tasty treats.

This fun monthly event is one you definitely don’t want to miss!


2. Soul Purpose – Reggae – Artwalk Porch Party

When you head out to the Village of the Arts for the monthly Art Walk, don’t forget to stop by Birdrock Taco Shock. Not only do they have some of the best tacos in Bradenton, but they’re also hosting another Soul Purpose Reggae Artwalk Porch Party on Friday night.

If you’re still hungry for more, come back on Saturday, July 3rd for their Scott Stevenson Porch Party it starts at noon and promises to be a fun day.


3. Friday Night Bar Bingo with Prizes!

Join Steve O Entertainment at Table Talk SRQ Board Game Cafe for their FREE Friday Night Bar Bingo Games!

Each Friday, they’ll play 8 Rounds, and prizes are given out after each round. Each week’s prizes are posted on their Facebook page, so be sure to follow them!

4. Red, White, and Blueberry Celebration!

Celebrate America’s birthday with some red, white, and blueberry! Fiorelli Winery & Vineyard will be having a weekend celebration for the 4th of July with tastings held at the top of every hour. Watch out for the release of their latest wines, including Peach & Strawberry wines and classic semi-sweet Blueberry.

Bill Serles and Justin Layman will also be playing live music during the event and there will be great food from JP Southern Smoked.


5. Parade & 4th of July Celebration on AMI

If you’re looking for something fun to do while celebrating the 4th of July, look no further! The AMI Privateers will be hosting the annual 4th of July parade.

This year, it’s scheduled for Saturday, July 3rd, and will begin at 10 am sharp. The parade begins at the Coquina Beach South Entrance.


6. Biscuit Miller at Cottonmouth Southern Soul Kitchen

America’s electric blues bassist, singer, and songwriter, Biscuit Miller will take the stage at Cottonmouth Southern Soul Kitchen in the Village of the Arts on July 2nd. Reserve your seat now for $20.00. The cost will be $25.00 the day of the show, and this may sell out.

Cottonmouth Southern Soul Kitchen offers one of Bradenton’s best southern food, music, and hospitality in an outdoor venue on the Suncoast.


7. Bradenton Marauders Bark in the Park

There’s nothing quite like enjoying a Bradenton Marauders game with your pet! This month they’re hosting two “Bark in the Park” events — July 3rd and 28th. During these events, you’re welcome to bring your furry friend with you to the game.

8. Fireworks, Food & Fun at The Bishop!

Looking for something different to do for the 4th of July? Head over to The Bishop Museum of Science of Nature! You can grab a seat or bring your blanket to their Riverside Plaza for a front-row view of the fireworks over the Manatee River.

Enjoy a meal from Nancy’s Bar-B-Q-and a cash bar for adult beverages and desserts while you sit back and relax for the show. They’ll even have activities to keep your kids entertained! 9. 4th of July Fireworks & Independence Day Buffet

Sunday, July 4 from 7 pm to 10 pm

You can also celebrate the 4th of July at Pier 22! This location offers a great view of the fireworks over the Manatee River and they’ll also have an Independence day buffet on the Waterside Terrace.

The party will start at 7 pm and will end with a colorful Fireworks display by 9:30 pm. Table reservations and tickets are required for access to the pier. The cost is $100 for adults and $39.99 for children under 10. You can view the menu and reserve your tickets here.


10. Beer Stein or Wine Glass Painting Party

Wednesday, July 7th from 6 pm to 8 pm

Popular local brewery 3 Keys Brewing and Eatery is hosting a glassware painting party. This is a fun and unique experience where you get to paint your Beer Stein, Beer Mug, Stemmed Beer Glass, Wine Glass, or Coffee Cup for only $20. Each painter can pick a stencil from their wide collection of themes.

Head out to Anna Maria Island’s Bridge Street to enjoy their Thirsty Third Thursday event! You’ll enjoy specials and live music throughout the area.

Each participating restaurant is offering $3 Landsharks and their own individual specials. The Daiquiri Deck will also be having half-price family nacho plates and Open Mic starting at 7 pm.

Participating bars and restaurants include: Sports Lounge, The Anna Maria Oyster Bar Pier, Island Time, Bridge Tender, The Drift Inn, and The Daiquiri Deck.


16. Friday Flamingle

17. Cornhole and Cocktails Festival

The Cornhole and Cocktails Festival is back this year for another fun and enjoyable experience! During the event, you’ll enjoy a fun indoor cornhole tournament, food, drinks, live music, and a raffle.

18. Kitchen Kids

Pineapple Kitchen is proud to present their Kitchen Kids Basic Culinary and Restaurant Education Course. It was designed by Executive Chef Jeremy and Pastry Chef Krissi, and will cover everything your child needs to know when working in the kitchen – including basic cooking, baking, kitchen safety tips, and more.

Class sizes will be limited to only 12 students and each student will get their very own embroidered Chef’s Apron & Hat with their name, measuring spoons & measuring cup, and a class course book. Learn more and register here.

Join the AMI Privateers for their annual Christmas in July Fundraiser! It will be held at the Drift Inn and will feature a lotto board, booze basket raffle, and a “Taste of the Island” food buffet for just $10. Santa is coming to this fun event, and the pirates will also be there!

All money raised will go towards the Privateers Christmas Families in December, so come on out and support this great cause!
