1. Palma Sola Botanical Plants and More Sale

Palma Sola Botanical Park: 9800 17th Ave NW, Bradenton, FL 34209
Saturday, October 2nd from 8 am to 3 pm

If you’re into collecting and taking care of plants, then this Fall Plants and More Sale at Palma Sola Botanical Park is the event for you!

You’ll have a chance to check out a wonderful selection of plants and visit craft vendors. There’s no admission charge (although donations are welcome), so make sure you don’t miss this fun annual event.

Some vendors also only accept cash, so you’ll want to bring some with you. This way, you won’t miss out on getting your hands on the plant of your dreams.


2. Bradenton Public Market

Old Main St.: 400 12th Street West Bradenton FL
Every Saturday starting October 2nd through May from 9 am to 2 pm

Bradenton’s Farmers Market is back! It has been re-branded and is now better than before. The season starts on October 2nd and will be held every Saturday until the end of May.

This weekly market will feature over 40 local vendors selling their own fresh-grown fruits, vegetables, plants, organic products, fresh seafood, and prepared foods. You’ll also find local art, live music, and more.

Mainly Art now also hosts dozens of local artists and craftspeople displaying and selling their creations every Saturday on Fourth Avenue West where it connects with the Bradenton Public Market.


3. Drag Bingo at Kava Social Club

Tuesday, October 5th from 7 pm to 10 pm

For a fun time you won’t soon forget, head over to Kava Social Club to check their Drag Bingo Night!

The evening will be hosted by Opi Yumm & Felix Gemini Star. Admission is free with your drink purchase and they’ll provide all the Bingo materials.

You’ll have a chance to win bar tabs, prizes, and bragging rights with your friends in a judgment-free, alcohol-free establishment.


4. Adult Late Nights at Table Talk Board Game Café

Every Tuesday night from 9 pm to 12 am

Table Talk Board Game Café now offers something new! A late-night venue that is perfect for a girl’s night out, date night, or hanging out with your friends.

5. Oktoberfest at Edelweiss

Mark your calendars then head over to Edelweiss to eat, drink, schunkel, and yodel because Oktoberfest is back!

This year, you’ll love hanging out in the huge beer tent and enjoying live entertainment with German music & Schuplattler dancers. There will also be a DJ hosting contests and games, vendors, giveaways, prizes, and – of course, tons of traditional German food and Oktoberfest Beer!


6. Kava Social Night Market – 2nd Sat.

Kava Social Club is now hosting a fun and exciting night market on the second Saturday of each month.

Come on out to enjoy live music, artists, games, giveaways, flow performances, vendors, and much more.

You’ll want to check out the market every month so you can visit your favorite vendors and see what’s new!


7. Live Entertainment at the Manatee Performing Art Center

We’re so excited that the Manatee Performing Arts Center is hosting live performances once again! You can enjoy several shows in October, including:

  • Mamma Mia! (musical) – opens Thursday, October 14th and runs through the 24th
  • Theatre Oddyssey’s 3rd One-Act Play Festival – runs October 14th -17th
  • Murder, Mystery & Poe (drama) – runs October 21st – 31st

8. Goblin Gathering

Friday, October 15th from 6 pm to 8:30 pm

You don’t want to miss out on the 19th Annual Goblin Gathering at G.T. Bray Park, organized by the Manatee County Parks and Natural Resources Department. Come out with your family and friends and join the celebration!

There will be lots of fun games and activities like costume contests, face painting, a bounce house, and food vendors. In addition, many local businesses will be on-site to give out “treats and sweets” to the children, proving a new and safe way of trick-or-treating.

Each child will need a $5 dollar wristband to join in on the activities and parents can attend for free.


9. 30th Annual Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Festival

October 16th – 17th, 23rd – 24th, and 30th – 31st from 9 am to 5 pm

Come and join the festivities as Hunsader Farms celebrate its 30th Annual Pumpkin Festival.

There will be a variety of fun games and activities to enjoy. This includes a craft show, kid’s pumpkin game, pioneer trades village, pony rides, petting zoo, food galore, arm painting, rock wall climbing, and much more.

10. Local Art Classes

11. Stuff the Bus

All Manatee County Publix Locations
Sunday, October 17th from 9 am to 3 pm

Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee has set a goal to raise 150,000 pounds of food this year to feed Manatee County residents! You can support this important cause by helping them Stuff the Bus on October 17th.

Just head out to any of the 18 Manatee County Publix locations, buy some nonperishable items (pro tip – take advantage of BOGOs!) and drop them off on your way out.

12. Humane Society Harvest Festival

The Humane Society of Manatee County is looking forward to seeing everyone at their fantastically fun Harvest Festival.

You’ll enjoy festival games, a 50/50 raffle, picture stations, local vendors, adoption specials, a $5 pet costume contest, and much more. Entry fee is a pet food donation for their community Pet Food Pantry or a monetary donation for their Second Chance Adoption Center.

The Dinosaurs are coming alive! Check out The Bishop’s newest adventure: Dino Don’s DinoVenture, where you can experience the roaring, breathing giants that once ruled the earth.

15. Tanner’s Turkeys Fundraiser

Thursday, October 28th from 6 pm to 8 pm

Come on out and help Tanner’s Turkeys raise money to help feed local families in need a Thanksgiving dinner. This local organization builds and delivers HUNDREDS of holiday meals each year, including all the canned goods, rolls & frozen turkeys needed for a Thanksgiving dinner.

16. Kiss Tribute at Joyland Live

Joyland has reopened in a new location and is hosting a ton of awesome live music events!

17. 18th Annual Boo Run 5k

19. The Mark Wandall Foundation’s 18th Annual Memorial Golf Tournament & Trunk-or-Treat

Want to have a great time and support an incredible cause? Head out to The Mark Wandall Foundation’s 18th Annual Memorial Golf Tournament and Trunk-or-Treat event.
