Sugar Speakeasies start to pop up and become very popular. Of course, it comes with a price. Pineapple’s Sugar Factory Speakeasy is one of the most popular in the south. Hidden inside his “temporarily closed” Sugar Factory, . Pineapple creates a decadent spot for sugar overload. But one of his workers ends up dead. Now a detective-for-hire, Penelope McArthur aka Penelope Peach takes on her first official case to find a missing girl as the sparks of a dangerous conspiracy ignite a mystery that requires the help of her older brother, Frank McArthur – to unravel.
