You will arrive at our lovely Carriage House Studio as an inexperienced beginner to acrylic painting. At the end of the day you will have painted this majestic Blue Heron in Debra Goode’s step-by-step class for newcomers to acrylic painting. ALL SUPPLIES ARE PROVIDED.
The Heron painting is created on a 14×18 inch canvas in acrylic paints. This is a basic beginner’s class, no previous experience is necessary. You will be given step by step instructions. This is a very relaxed, stress-free class in which you will learn several painting techniques.
This is the perfect class if you are looking to explore your creative side and indulge your curiosity about working with acrylic media — all without making a big investment in art supplies.
Acrylics are permanent when dry, so please feel free to ‘dress down’ and bring an apron so you won’t have to worry if you get paint on your clothing. The Carriage House Studio provides plenty of paper towels for cleaning up.
ALL SUPPLIES ARE PROVIDED. Just bring yourself and your enthusiasm for learning a new creative skill and making beautiful art.
This is a 5-hour class that runs from 10 am to 5 pm with a half-hour break for lunch. Bring a sandwich or snack. The Carriage House Studio provides beverages for your enjoyment throughout the class including bottled water, several varieties of coffee, hot tea, and hot chocolate.
