Owner Tameka Fountaine originally started out shopping for the big-name competitors, hoping to make some extra money for the holidays. However, she quickly found that the model these companies used had some room for improvement.

Always having had a passion for shopping, she decided to launch her own business with extra services and lower price points. Since 2018, she’s been providing shopping and delivery services to residents in Bradenton, Sarasota, Palmetto, and the surrounding areas including AMI, Longboat Key, Siesta Key, Ellenton, Parish, and Venice.

Transparent Pricing Formula

If you’ve ever ordered from companies like Shipt or Instacart, you know that they set their own prices for grocery items. You’ll pay an upcharge on most of the items you buy, as well as a delivery fee and/or a membership fee. While BOGO offers may appear on their sites, regular sale prices rarely apply.

Black Market is different. They don’t add an upcharge to any of your items. Instead, you’ll pay a flat percentage based on how much you spend at each store. They’re happy to honor the prices listed in the store’s weekly ad, in fact, the ads are conveniently posted right on her site. When your order is delivered, you’ll receive the physical receipt so you can confirm the actual price you paid for each item. This transparent pricing formula is a huge advantage!

Or maybe you’re a diabetic or watching your sodium intake? Tameka is an expert at shopping for dietary restrictions!

She also has an amazing attention to detail and a knack for picking out the freshest products. When you order from Black Market, you know that your shopping is always done by the same person and your items will be packaged perfectly so they arrive in impeccable condition.

Restaurant Pick-Up & Delivery

Craving take-out but don’t want to drive to the restaurant? Skip Uber Eats and the like and call Black Market instead! While many of these delivery services charge the restaurant up to 1/3 of the price of your order (in addition to what you pay!) Tameka doesn’t charge the restaurant at all.

Choose her service and you’re supporting both her and your favorite restaurant owner at the same time!

Shop, Wrap, and Deliver

Just in time for the holidays, Black Market introduces Shop, Wrap, and Deliver. Forget fighting for parking, dealing with crazy crowds, and then getting home and having to stash your gifts until you can get around to wrapping them. Instead, place your order with Black Market and she’ll go buy them, wrap them, and deliver them to your home or to your gift recipeint’s home.

Need to send things out of town? She’ll also shop, wrap, and ship! You choose whether you want to use UPS, FedEx, or the postal service, provide the addresses, and she’ll do the rest!

Have little ones at home who like to snoop for their gifts? Guess what — Black Market will also shop -wrap- store- and deliver! That’s right, she’ll hold onto your gifts for you and deliver them wrapped and ready to go on December 23rd!

How it Works

It’s easy to get started with Black Market Personal Shopper Services. Start by visiting the Black Market Personal Shopper Services website and downloading the app. Then choose your store and delivery option. Text or email your shopping list — or use the app to browse products by category and add items to your list.

If you have any special requests or instructions, you can easily leave a note. Then, you’ll schedule your delivery date and time and add your tip. Add your delivery address and confirm your order. You’ll want to make sure you stand by in case there are any questions, and that you’re available to accept your delivery at the designated time. That’s it!
