Bradenton's Restaurant Edelweiss has earned a reputation for being the best German restaurant in the area, and we agree! From the food to the atmosphere, everything here is completely authentic. In fact, it’s the closest you’ll get to eating in Munich without getting on a plane.
All of their menu items are made from scratch, and they offer lunch, dinner, and a Sunday brunch. This quaint, cozy restaurant has both indoor seating and a large outdoor Biergarten where you can relax and enjoy your meal or have a few drinks.
Authentic German Flavors
The menu at Edelweiss features many popular items like Schnitzel, Sauerbraten, Bratwurst, and Hungarian Goulash. If you arrive really hungry, consider trying the "Schweinshaxe," a crisp and tender 1.5-pound pork shank served with sauerkraut and pan-fried potatoes. Or order the "Sampler" so you can try a few different dishes. It features a Schnitzel, Sauerbraten, and Roulade, served with traditional sides.

Every Tuesday (5:30 PM – 8:00 PM): Alpine Doc entertains guests with his live music. This talented musician is well known for his appearances at Walt Disney World and the Hofbräuhaus.
Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: Klement and His Accordion will keep your toes tapping.
Every Friday you can enjoy 2-for-1 beers, and you'll definitely want to mark your calendars for their incredible Sunday brunch. It's served every week from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM and includes $2 mimosas.
