Realize Bradenton is now accepting applications for the Spring 2026 Startup Circle Entrepreneurship Program, a free cohort-style course designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs turn business ideas into reality.

The program includes nine sessions focused on the fundamentals of launching and running a business. Participants receive expert guidance while also working alongside other entrepreneurs who are developing their own ideas. Since the program began in 2021, more than 150 local entrepreneurs have graduated, building businesses that contribute to the Bradenton community.

Program Structure and Learning Topics

Participants meet once a week for two hours during the course. Each session focuses on practical business topics that help entrepreneurs develop a clear foundation for their venture.

Training sessions include:

  • Organizational Planning - Business licensing, legal structures, and registration

  • Financial Literacy - Managing cash flow, budgeting, and evaluating business viability

  • Marketing Strategy - Market research, branding, and identifying target audiences

  • Small Business Capital - Guidance on locating and securing local funding sources

Throughout the program, participants work step-by-step on building their own business plan while learning directly from instructors and fellow entrepreneurs.

Building a Business Plan and Support Network

By the end of the nine-session program, graduates leave with a completed and polished business plan that outlines their concept, strategy, and financial outlook. The program also creates strong connections among participants who often continue supporting one another long after the sessions conclude.

"Cohort learning is the secret sauce to the whole program," said Kristie Kindstrom, Realize Bradenton Events Manager and Startup Circle Coordinator. "At the end, they are all like family and become each other's greatest advocates."

Application Timeline and Course Dates

Applications for the Spring 2026 program are open March 2 through March 27, 2026. The course sessions will be held on Tuesdays from April 7 through June 2, 2026.

The program is offered free of charge, though space is limited to maintain a focused learning environment.
