When Kaliya Taylor was 14, she told her mom she wanted to open a coffee shop.
Autumn Stosick told her to come back with a business plan.
So she did, complete with colored gel pens, coffee ideas, and a vision for what the place could become. A few years later, that dream turned into a mobile coffee trailer. Then, after building a following around Manatee County, it found a permanent home in Palmetto.
Now, The Daily Brew Station is a mother-daughter coffee shop filled with locally roasted coffee, fresh breakfast favorites, pink drinks, and a fun, cozy vibe.

A business built on creativity, details, and a local touch
Kaliya and her mom are still in the early days of owning the shop, but they’ve been thoughtful about how they’re building it.
You can see the creativity in the little things: the adorable pink heart-shaped straws, the mini pancake menu with toppings like fresh fruit, Fruity Pebbles, Oreo crumbles, and Nutella, and the kind of playful details that make the space feel fun without trying too hard.
They’ve also intentionally built their menu around local relationships. The coffee comes from Banyan Roasters, keeping things local from bean to cup. The bagels come from Jersey Bagel, right off Cortez, and Leaps and Loaves supplies the sourdough, which is also available for purchase by the loaf. Boar’s Head rounds out the meats and cheeses, adding a familiar quality name to the menu.

More than a morning coffee stop
While breakfast is a big part of the draw, The Daily Brew Station is also shaping into a gathering place.
The shop has already hosted events and is open to more. Autumn mentioned hat-design events, mom walks, bouquet pop-ups, and other creative ways to bring people together.
Palmetto has been showing up for The Daily Brew Station, too. The shop opened with a ribbon cutting in partnership with the Manatee County Chamber of Commerce, and Autumn says the city has been incredibly supportive. The mayor came out for the ribbon cutting, city staff showed up, and The Daily Brew Station has already been included in local events.
That support matters, especially for a new small business.
It also says something about where Palmetto is right now. The local coffee scene is growing, more small businesses are creating their own following, and The Daily Brew Station fits right into that energy.

Stop in and stay a while
The Daily Brew Station is still new, but it already has the pieces people love in a neighborhood coffee shop: friendly owners, good coffee, fresh breakfast, a cute atmosphere, and a genuine interest in being part of the community.
Grab a coffee. Try the mini pancakes. Pick up a breakfast sandwich. Watch for new lunch options. Follow along for pop-ups, community events, and announcements. And don’t forget, every day is better when it starts with something pink. 💕
The Daily Brew Station is located at 551 17th St W, Palmetto, FL 34221.
