It’s the only beachfront massage for at least 100 miles in either direction, and whether you’re vacationing, day-tripping, or are an island resident, it’s something you should do at least once.
Guests are welcome to arrive at the private beach 15 minutes ahead of time and stay for up to 45 minutes after the massage is done, giving you time for a quick dip or a picnic. Book close to sunset, bring some snacks or a glass of wine for afterward, and let the Gulf keep doing its job after the therapist leaves.

The Creative Force Behind the Calm
Amanda Escobio has been a licensed massage therapist for around 30 years. She’s originally from Tampa, but spent time on Anna Maria Island as a child, and the magic of the white sand and Gulf water stayed with her.
Today, she’s the owner of Sea-renity Bou-Tiki & Beach Spa, and Body & Sol Day Spa & Coastal Boutique.
After suffering major damage to all the locations following the 2024 hurricanes and finding creative ways to keep things afloat during the recovery, this year marked an important milestone. In May of 2026, after nearly 18 months of being closed for renovations, the Anna Maria space reopened as UPSTAIRS – a collaborative space that brings together massage, yoga, boutique shopping, and original art, all under one roof.
Amanda carefully crafted the new service menu, including unique offerings like The Octopus: a 45-minute, four-handed massage by two therapists working in coordinated flow, designed to feel like multi-directional, eight-arm bodywork, or the Sol Scalp Ritual, which uses healing botanicals massaged into the scalp and hair beneath an island-exclusive water halo.
The lobby serves as a boutique with a small but expertly curated selection of clothing, decor, wellness, and gift items.
The large yoga room serves as a space for classes by Salty Buddha @ Island Yoga Space, and doubles as a mini gallery featuring gorgeous pieces from Cove Gallery & Boutique.
It all comes together to create a unique, calming atmosphere that helps bring you back to the island vibe.
