Veterans Benefit Soiree Brings Bradenton Together for a Special Cause

The Bradenton Woman's Club is hosting a Veterans Benefit Soiree on October 4th from 6 to 10 p.m.

The Bradenton Woman's Club is bringing the community together for a night of food, music, and celebration all to help send 10 deserving female veterans on the GFWC Florida Flight of Honor. This life-changing trip will take them to Washington, D.C., to visit the memorials built in their honor.

The Veterans Benefit Soiree will take place on Saturday, October 4, from 6-10 PM at the Bradenton Woman's Club. Guests can enjoy dinner, gaming, an open bar featuring beer, wine, and signature cocktails, and live entertainment by The Paramount Swing Quintet. Cocktail attire is encouraged for the evening. Tickets are $100 per person and can be purchased online.

Giving Back to Women Who Served

The GFWC Florida Flight of Honor gives veterans the opportunity to see the memorials dedicated to their service--an experience that many have never had. This year's goal is to make that possible for 10 women who have served our country. Proceeds from the event will directly fund their trip, covering travel expenses, accommodations, and the support needed to ensure their journey is meaningful and memorable.

Sponsorship Opportunities

The Veterans Benefit Soiree Committee is seeking local businesses and individuals to help make this mission possible. Sponsorship levels range from $500 to $1,500, with each level offering valuable benefits in addition to the reward of supporting an incredible cause.

  • $1,500 "Dance Hall" Entertainment Sponsor - 8 tickets, top billing on event materials, stage signage, marquee name placement for one week post-event, and recognition at the event.

  • $1,000 "Officers Club" VIP Sponsor - 6 tickets, premium signage at the VIP Lounge, marquee name placement for one week post-event, and recognition at the event.

  • $750 "Mess Hall" Food Sponsor - 4 tickets, marquee name placement for one week post-event, and recognition at the event.

  • $500 "Canteen" Bar Sponsor - 2 tickets, bar signage, naming rights for a signature drink (limited), and program listing.

There is also an option to sponsor one veteran for $800, directly funding her place on the trip.

Get Involved

Businesses that sponsor this event will be recognized in front of a community audience while demonstrating a visible commitment to honoring those who served. In addition to the promotional exposure, sponsors will enjoy tickets to the soiree and the chance to be part of an evening filled with gratitude, celebration, and community spirit.

For more information or to become a sponsor, visit their website or contact event co-chairs Gloria Comerford at 617-930-5531 or Shannon Scarfino at 941-301-5813. You can also shoot an email to glojimcom@comcast.net or shannonsells941@gmail.com.

Tickets are available now, and the Bradenton Woman's Club encourages everyone to join in making this year's Veterans Benefit Soiree a night to remember, and a mission accomplished.
