Fire Charity Fishing Foundation

Fire Charity Fishing Foundation (FCF Foundation Inc.) is a community-focused nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness and funds for youth and first responder charities through good old-fashioned involvement and connection. Since 2006, we have worked to support local children, families, aspiring emergency responders, and first responders in times of need. Our mission centers on creating opportunities that bring people together around sportfishing while making a lasting impact in people’s lives.

At the heart of our work is a belief that giving back builds stronger communities. We support charitable causes that help young burn survivors, expand opportunities for future firefighters and EMTs, and assist first responder families when unexpected hardships arise. Our signature event brings community members of all ages together for fun, friendly competition and meaningful support.

Our Impact

Here are some of the ways we’ve given back since 2006:

  • $158,000 to Children’s Burn Camp of Florida

  • $19,750 to Dream Oaks Camp

  • $40,000 for First Responder Needs

  • $19,000 toward Firefighter/EMT Scholarships

  • $22,000 for Other Local Community Needs

These dollars have helped pay for healing experiences for children, supported first responder families facing emergencies, and helped young people pursue careers in emergency services.

Annual Fishing Tournament & Festival

Each June, we host the Fire Charity Fishing Tournament & Festival, bringing anglers and community members together for a weekend centered on sportfishing and giving back. The event includes fishing competitions with cash prizes, along with food, music, and local vendors open to the public. It’s a chance for the community to gather, enjoy the weekend, and support the charitable work we do throughout the year.

Finally a united group that will be the host our local Scottish Highland Games!! Many of us are looking forward to the inaugural event that will be held on Saturday Feb 10th at the Manatee County Fairgrounds in Palmetto FL. A much larger venue than the Sarasota Fairgrounds!! I understand there will be a pipe band competition and a challenge between the Manatee County Sheriff's office and the EMT's in the actual Highland Games competition. See you in February!!

Once a PACE girl, always a PACE girl. Being part of PACE Center for Girls' first graduating class was transformative. PACE provided unwavering support during challenging times, boosting my confidence and helping me discover my true potential. The staff's personalized attention and encouragement were instrumental in overcoming obstacles and achieving academic success. PACE is more than an institution; it's a caring community that goes beyond academics. Thank you, PACE Center for Girls, for making a profound difference in my life.
