Suncoast Scots is a 501 3C non-profit entity made up of individuals and leaders of local/regional Scottish Heritage, Scottish Clergy, Celtic organizations and Celtic musicians. Our collective group wants to ensure that centuries old traditions & customs continue in our local and regional geographic areas.

Our mission is to organize and promote events such as Suncoast Scots Highland Games and other functions that assist in the continuation of our heritage. We also want to encourage, promote and support other local/ regional non-profit groups that share our similar beliefs.

Great organization in supporting the Celtic culture in the area. Provides scholarships for those that apply for the Celtic arts and athletics.

Finally a united group that will be the host our local Scottish Highland Games!! Many of us are looking forward to the inaugural event that will be held on Saturday Feb 10th at the Manatee County Fairgrounds in Palmetto FL. A much larger venue than the Sarasota Fairgrounds!! I understand there will be a pipe band competition and a challenge between the Manatee County Sheriff's office and the EMT's in the actual Highland Games competition. See you in February!!
