The Blessing Bags Project

We provide basic, critical needs to the homeless and less fortunate.

In January of 2014, The Blessing Bags was founded in Bradenton, Florida. We are a group of concerned citizens who have a love for the homeless in our community. We collect travel-size personal hygiene products, sunscreen, hand sanitizers, etc.. Volunteers get together and put the items in Ziploc bags and we then distribute them as needed. We also collect Beanie Babies and make Children’s Blessing Bags. We now service Sarasota and Manatee counties. Our vision is to provide Blessing Bags to the homeless in every community in Florida. Together…WE ARE making a difference in our communities!

Street Outreach

“Bridging the (Gap)”

Join us on the streets on Friday mornings at 8AM as we bring food, sandwiches, hygiene items, etc.. We always go out in teams. We welcome donations of food and water.

Finally a united group that will be the host our local Scottish Highland Games!! Many of us are looking forward to the inaugural event that will be held on Saturday Feb 10th at the Manatee County Fairgrounds in Palmetto FL. A much larger venue than the Sarasota Fairgrounds!! I understand there will be a pipe band competition and a challenge between the Manatee County Sheriff's office and the EMT's in the actual Highland Games competition. See you in February!!

Once a PACE girl, always a PACE girl. Being part of PACE Center for Girls' first graduating class was transformative. PACE provided unwavering support during challenging times, boosting my confidence and helping me discover my true potential. The staff's personalized attention and encouragement were instrumental in overcoming obstacles and achieving academic success. PACE is more than an institution; it's a caring community that goes beyond academics. Thank you, PACE Center for Girls, for making a profound difference in my life.
