Academic Avengers’ Reading Academy is a chance for superheroes young and old to train together to save the world from reading woes. Participants will have a chance to explore compound words and phrases by participating in our Hulk smash vocabulary game. They’ll also develop a stronger understanding of using inference and evidence to formulate opinions in our fantastic photo challenge where participants work as detectives to evaluate panels from comic books to guess what’s happening in the scene, what happened between panels, and what might come next. They can even join the Literary Legion, explore dialogic questions, and much more. We’ll work as a community to embiggen our story by creating a heroic adventure!
