Today, we’re excited to have a chance to catch up with Dr. Nicole Nelson, DVM, CCRP, cVMA, owner of Pawsome Recoveries. Here’s what she had to say…
Can you tell us a little bit about why you love what you do? What is it about your business that makes you so passionate?
I understand how difficult it can be to bring a debilitated dog into a clinic for treatment. Additionally, the home visits give me a chance to not only get to see the pet in an environment they are comfortable in, but I also get to know the owners/pet parents. They become like extended family.
What’s your favorite thing about owning a business in Bradenton?
I grew up locally, attending King Middle School, Manatee High School, and USF for undergrad before heading up north for veterinary school. This is home for me.
What do you want people to know about your business?
I am currently accepting new clients and am looking forward to providing a better quality of life for more local pets.
What’s your favorite way to #SupportLocal?
I love trying new local restaurants. Local to me equals special. It is something you are not going to get anywhere else, but here.
