Giving a hand up out of the depths of addiction to a victorious life. We are a non-profit organization that is committed to helping individuals who struggle with Substance Use Disorder. These individuals feel lost with nobody to help them and nowhere safe to live. We help these individuals by placing them in, and temporarily funding, sober transitional living. We give them access to food, clothing, hygiene products, cell phones in some cases, and we have connections with employers that will hire individuals with an extensive criminal history. This gives our clients the opportunity to secure employment. With determination and focus, we help them find what works for them in their personal recovery. Our Executive Director and Founder Justin Halas struggled as a 15-year drug addict himself. He now has almost 9 years completely sober. Justin realized there was something missing in the process for individuals that truly desire to change their lives. Before Hand Up To Victory, these individuals were stuck returning to the streets regardless of their desire to live a sober functional life. This leads to a feeling of hopelessness for them and an inevitable return to substance use. This cycle will, unfortunately, lead to their untimely death due to overdose, illnesses related to substance abuse, or a certain return to incarceration. We desire to be a light in these individuals’ dark world and to help them find sobriety, a support system, and success in recovery. Sorry, no records were found.
