HOPE Family Services (HOPE) is a private, not-for-profit corporation founded in 1979 and received tax-exempt status under section 501 (C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code in 1980. HOPE’s primary purpose is to provide services to survivors of domestic violence and help them stay safe, gain strength, and evaluate their options.   I happened to go to Hope Family Services when they 1st opened and all I can say is it really saved my life. I even had a place to stay for myself and two children for our safety. I felt frightened and alone. I quickly met so many others going through the same experience. Hiding, making excuses for mental and physical abuse. They provided classes of how to get out and not repeat the same ingrained bad relationships. Please if you need help, this is it!
