Jordyns Joy Inc.

In July of 2017 we learned after a lung biopsy that Jordyn had Non-Specific Interstitial Lung Disease. Jordyn spent a lot of time at the hospital. During her hospitalization period an anonymous little girl donated a New stuffed animal with handwritten card. It made such an impact on us and her that we felt the need to pay it forward. In December 2017 we started a Facebook page to collect toys for the Kids, Jordyn was a huge part of this effort and it gave her something to take her mind off being sick.

We never thought that this disease would take her life. Jordyn had overcome so many obstacles, nothing ever stopped her, and she overcame everything that was put in her path. Unfortunately, this was something that her Superhero powers couldn’t beat. We watched her go from a sassy, funny, outgoing, one-of-a-kind kid, to being a kid in and out of the hospital, having to have a ton of testing, lung biopsy’s, experimental treatments, that we hoped would work, and Jordyn up on oxygen full time. She no longer got to be a kid. Jordyn fought as hard as she could, but this was too hard, Jordyn passed away in May 2018 at the age of 8 years old, only 10 months after being diagnosed.

Today we deliver toys to multiple Children’s Hospitals and we honor Jordyn by sharing our love for her with others and continue to bring joy to other children fighting their battles. In life we all have a choice, our family decided to make something beautiful out of something tragic, and we are committed to continue to touch as many lives as possible.
