Mixon Fruit Farms is “Florida’s Sweetest Attraction,” located a few miles east of Anna Maria Island, on an Orange Grove. It’s a great fun family destination, and we are celebrating our 81st anniversary this year!

Come take a ride on the Orange Blossom Express tram. It goes right through our grove with a stop at our nationally acclaimed Wildlife Rescue Area. You’ll enjoy an interactive, up close and personal presentation with animals that have actually been rescued from the wild.Trams run Thursday through Saturday at 11 & 1.

Stay for lunch…Our Groveside Cafe offers excellent sandwiches, salads, soups and more. The Gift Shoppe has a broad selection of unique gifts for every occasion, plus some old-time Florida treats…and there is wine tasting every day! You will just love our fresh squeezed orange juice, grapefruit juice and lemonade – Take a taste test while you’re here! You will not want to miss our “almost world famous” Orange Swirl ice cream. We also make our own Cream & Butter Fudge!

Bring the kids to our new Amazing Play Place! Water slide, bounce house, tether ball, giant chess game…and much more. Fun for the whole family! play place open from Thursday-Saturday 10-3

Mixon Fruit Farms also has a beautiful Pavilion area and Garden Oasis Gazebo located beside a lovely Koi Pond for your special event…Weddings, birthdays, family reunions, etc. Our new and unique Mixon Farmhouse Inn is also available for lodging! This newly renovated home sleeps us to 13 people!

  I truly love driving around and seeing the billboard that reminds me that the yummy orange swirled ice cream is just around the corner! What a fun place to go for the afternoon. The animals, gift shop, fruit and ice cream! Love supporting local. Can’t forget to stop by and feed the fish! A wonderful setting for a special event or wedding.

  Mixon’s is the funnest grove ever!! Huge gift and tasting shop!! A neat little venue for a quick bite and at times Music in the Grove!! A must visit that all ages can enjoy!! (Don’t forget to send some citrus fruit back home for all to enjoy!!!)

  Mixon’s is a great place to visit. They have a lovely gift shop with unique gifts. And , of course, the delicious fudge and “orange swirl” Ice cream. Can’t wait to go back to take the tram through the orange grove!
