St Joseph Pantry

Founded in the mid 1970’s, the Mission of St Joseph Food Pantry is to provide food to any household or individual in Manatee County who is in need. We are open 5 days a week Mon – Fri from 9 am to noon and are staffed by a 100% team of volunteers who are committed to those with food insecurity.

We are in need of volunteers, to provide translation services, or lift up to 50 lbs to help unload trucks, or computer operators, or become a daily coordinator.

Great organization in supporting the Celtic culture in the area. Provides scholarships for those that apply for the Celtic arts and athletics.

Finally a united group that will be the host our local Scottish Highland Games!! Many of us are looking forward to the inaugural event that will be held on Saturday Feb 10th at the Manatee County Fairgrounds in Palmetto FL. A much larger venue than the Sarasota Fairgrounds!! I understand there will be a pipe band competition and a challenge between the Manatee County Sheriff's office and the EMT's in the actual Highland Games competition. See you in February!!
