Celebrate Halloween in Bradenton 2023!

Halloween is just around the corner and Bradenton is gearing up for lots of fun celebrations. From Trick-or-Treating and Costume Parties to Goblin Gatherings and more – there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Get ready to immerse yourself in a world of spooktacular delights and festive fun. Join us as we explore the top ways to celebrate Halloween 2023 in Bradenton.

Goblin Gathering

Friday, October 13th from 5:30 PM to 8 PM
GT Bray Park: 5502 33rd Avenue Drive West, Bradenton 34209

This spooktacular outdoor event is family-friendly and fun for all ages! Local businesses will be passing out “treats & sweets” to participants, providing a safe alternative for families to trick-or-treat.

This year will also feature a spooky trail, and food trucks will be on site to offer a BITE. Event entry and trick-or-treating is free. $5 WRISTBANDS are sold to jump in the bounce houses, enjoy a pony ride, and be festively face painted!

Sherrif’s Spooktactical Night

Thursday, October 19th from 5 PM to 8 PM
Manatee County Sheriff’s Office: 600 301 Blvd. W., Bradenton, Florida

Sheriff Rick Wells invites you to come out for a Spooktactical evening of family fun at the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

MCSO Units and their community partners will have vehicles on display and there will be activities for the kids, trick or treating, and more. This thrilling event brings the community closer to law enforcement in a uniquely engaging way. The event is free to the public, and free hotdogs will be available while supplies last. Food trucks will also be available for additional options for purchase.

Parking will be available at the former Desoto Square Mall across from the Operations Center. Handicapped parking will be available on-site.


Dance Party/Costume Party

Friday, October 27th at 7 PM
810 6th Street West, Palmetto, Florida, 34221

Get ready to groove in your most awesome costumes at the Dance Party/Costume Party in the Old Armory VFW in Palmetto!

This party isn’t just about the boogie; it’s about giving back. There will be a $5 suggested donation, where all proceeds will go to the VFW, “Wounded Warriors” and The Disabled American Veterans. In addition to a great DJ, there will also be pizza, a game room, a laser-shooting booth, a pool table, and more – Altogether, there are 4 separate rooms of fun!

This dance party is open to the public for those 21 years old and up. So, dress up in your wildest costumes (optional), from disco divas to superheroes, and dance the night away while supporting our troops.


BOO! at The Bishop

Saturday, October 28th from 6 PM to 8 PM
The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature: 201 10th St W, Bradenton, FL

Join The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature and other community partners for safe, family fun. Trick-or-Treat within the Museum while visiting with local community members.

Light activities will also be provided for children as they explore. Child-friendly costumes are encouraged.

You’ll leave with candy and plenty of great memories!

Halloween at the Market

The Bradenton Public Market is back for an all-new season of fresh-grown produce, local art, live music, and more.

In addition to the shopping and music, the Market will be hosting special events throughout the season. This month, they will be celebrating Halloween at the Market – a family-friendly event that includes trick or treating, vendors, face painting Manatee School for the Arts Academic Team, a dance performance by Slick Motion Studios, and more.

So come out to the market for all your fall treats and goodies, and celebrate the season by shopping local!!


Oscura’s Halloween Costume Cover Show

This promises to be a night of musical magic as some of your favorite local bands transform into legendary acts.

Watch as Suburban Wasteland takes on the persona of “Blink-182,” The Tilt channels “The Cure,” Neverless rocks out as “Fall Out Boy,” and Lesa Silvermore Acoustic brings out “Nirvana”.

This is a FREE show, and costumes are 110% encouraged!

Trick or Treat Old Manatee

Get ready for a Halloween adventure in the Old Manatee Historic District! This year, local businesses around the area will be opening their doors to trick-or-treaters of all ages.

Walk around the neighborhood from Segunda Vida, Vintage Vine, Loving Hands Thrift Store, Vernona Gourmet, E&M Beauty Salon, and Lite Leaf (21+) to collect your treats. Aside from treat-or-treating, additional celebrations will be scheduled all throughout the area.

Grab a map and explore! It’s a fantastic opportunity to soak up the historic charm of Old Manatee while collecting your favorite sweets.


The Lost Boys Halloween Bash

Pioneer Spirits

Reflections of Manatee: 1305 4th Ave E, Bradenton, FL

Take a journey through the experience of death and dying in the 19th century, with a laying out, séance, and a 1920’s Halloween party.

Experience 3 vignettes from the mid-19th to early 20th century Florida. The experience will begin with the personal experience of laying out the dead in the family home before the Civil War. Then, you’ll move to a séance with Madame Larue who is trying to contact the beyond for a grieving family. Finally, the adventure ends with mulled cider, popcorn balls, and fun treats at a 1920’s Halloween party.

This event is open for everyone 10 years and older. It’s not recommended for little ones, since since it may be too spooky. Get your tickets here.


Bradenton Alive Halloween Alive

Bring your furry friends in their most adorable costumes to the cutest Halloween party in town! The Humane Society of Manatee County invites you to Puppy-Ween, a spooktacular celebration at Waypoint Bar and Grill.

This event will be a barking blast of activities for both two-legged and four-legged attendees. Join the pet costume contest, where your fur babies can strut their stuff in their amazing Halloween outfits and win prizes for the most creative and adorable costumes – a $5 donation is requested.

There will be delicious treats for both humans and pups. A range of dog vendors on-site with everything from gourmet dog treats and toys to stylish accessories for your four-legged companions. For the fur parents, several local breweries will be on hand to provide complimentary beer samples.

All this tail-wagging fun for a good cause, as all proceeds of this event will go to support the Humane Society’s mission of helping animals in need.


Art In The Park

Head on over to Palma Sola Botanical Park and check out Art in the Park featuring the
enchanting works of artist Joanne Pattison -who specializes in transparent watercolors. In this exhibit, you will see her captivating creations of the many plant specimens that can be found in the park. Complimentary lite bites and beverage tastings will be given by the Tea Tree Cafe.

That’s not all! In the spirit of the season, they are also hosting a special Trunk or Treat event, so get your little ones dressed in their cutest Halloween costume as they trick-or-treat in a safe and festive environment. It’s a creative collision of art and Halloween fun you won’t want to miss!
