Celebrate Oktoberfest at These Bradenton Restaurants

Oktoberfest in Munich may be canceled this year, but that doesn't mean you can't still celebrate with some delicious German food at these Bradenton Restaurants!
Bradenton German Restaurants

We’ve created a list of the best places in the area to celebrate Oktoberfest, so grab your lederhosen and dirndls and head out to one (or more!) of these great Bradenton restaurants.

Restaurant Edelweiss

611 Manatee Ave E. Bradenton, FL 34208

A recent recipient of the 2020 Tripadvisor “Best of the Best” Travelers’ Choice award, Restaurant Edelweiss is a must-visit restaurant for anyone who loves German Food. Their lunch and dinner menus feature all of the classics you would expect, including schnitzel, sausages, sauerbraten, pork shanks, and more.

The restaurant is open Tuesday through Sunday from 12 pm until 8 pm. They have a beautiful beer garden and socially-distant seating indoors. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there are currently only about 20 seats inside. If you want an inside table, it’s best to make a reservation.

Guests enjoy live music every Wednesday and Thursday. Friday is “Bavarian Night,” featuring both live music and two-for-one beers.

During their Oktoberfest celebration, held October 7th through 11th, they’re going to (safely) eat, drink, schunkel, and chicken dance! The event will be held outside under an open-air beer tent with tables 6 feet apart. Although there won’t be a dance floor this year, they will have live entertainment on stage, contests, giveaways, traditional Oktoberfest food, and plenty of beer!

You can follow Restaurant Edelweiss on Facebook and Instagram to keep up on all the latest updates!

If you call a day ahead to reserve one, you can also enjoy a pork shank with potato dumpling and sauerkraut.

The Lucky Frog is holding their Oktoberfest celebration on October 10th. Due to social distancing and limited capacity, they’re offering two seatings. The first is from 4:30 to 6:30 pm and the second is from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Reservations are highly suggested and they’re only accepting groups of 6 or fewer. The event will also feature live music by Petra & Teresa.
