At Discover Bradenton, we’re all about supporting our local businesses!
The holidays are coming, and it’s more important to #ShopLocal now than ever before. This year, we’re looking forward to making it both fun and rewarding with our first ever #ShopLocal Photo Contest.
Starting today, and continuing through the end of the month, every time you share a photo of you supporting a locally-owned business in Manatee County you’ll earn one entry into the contest.
Feel free to have fun with it and use your imagination! Take a selfie with your sandwich at your favorite local restaurant. Snap a photo of a beautiful gift shop display or something cool you saw at The Bradenton Farmer’s Market, The Coquina Beach Market, or anywhere else. The possibilities are virtually endless!

Two Ways to Enter
There are two ways to enter the contest. Both are super easy:
- Visit the Photo Contest page on our website, click the “Enter” button, and use the form to upload your photo.
- Upload your photo to the Discover Bradenton Facebook page and use the hashtags #ShopLocal and #DiscoverBradenton. Note that you need to post the photo on OUR Facebook page (not yours) and use BOTH hashtags. Otherwise, your photo won’t be uploaded.
Don’t forget to share your photo so you can get some votes and encourage your friends to participate too! Not only is this going to be a ton of fun, but every time you choose to #ShopLocal, you’re supporting families that live in our community!
