It’s not always easy to find locally-made baked goods that taste as amazing as they look — but Eli Pavelski, the owner of Edible Elegance by Eli has nailed it!
After starting as a hobby baker 13 years ago, she quickly realized that the demand for her incredible treats far outpaced what she could do under a “cottage kitchen” license. That’s when she began searching for a commercial location. Fate landed her in Bradenton, and we’re lucky to have her!
Her shop is now one of the area’s most popular bakeries. In fact, Edible Elegance by Eli was just named “Best Bakery” in the 2021 Herald Tribune Manatee Reader’s Choice Awards!
Eli specializes in custom cakes for birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, graduations, and other special occasions. Check out her website for a list of cake and cupcake flavors, fillings, frostings, and buttercreams. While the selection is incredible, if you don’t see what you’re looking for, there’s a good chance she can make it for you.
Eli says she often hears from customers who are missing home and looking for a specific type of treat. She’s happy to recreate family recipes or make that special dessert from your childhood.
In addition to cakes, she also offers a wide selection of tasty desserts including cupcakes, cookies, cake pops, tarts, mini pies, and more. Need a slightly inappropriate cake, cake pops, or other items for a “Dirty 30” or a bachelorette party? No need to be embarrassed, she’ll happily take care of that too!
When you plan your next special event, skip the large commercial stores and shop local instead! Generally, you’ll need a two-week window to request a custom cake. However, if you’re in a time pinch, you’re in luck! She also offers pre-designed, all-occasion cakes that can be made on shorter notice.
Some of the options include a Cookies & Cream cake topped with whole Oreos, a Funfetti Sprinkle Cake, Strawberries and Cream, and a delicious Chocolate Bliss cake (pictured below, on the left).
Edible Elegance by Eli is located at 3985 Cortez Rd W, Bradenton, FL 34210. She’s open Wednesday through Friday from 10 am to 3 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm.
