More importantly, they’re committed to keeping you safe from COVID. All tables are spaced 6-feet apart and hand sanitization is required prior to accessing any games. Once you’re finished with a game, you’ll place it in their game return where it’s quarantined and sanitized before it’s re-shelved.
When you purchase your $5 play pass, you get access to the entire game library. They have all the classics — like Hungry Hungry Hippo, Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit, and Bradenton-Opoly (the local spin to the classic favorite game of Monopoly). They also have party games, euro games, strategy games, solo games, Co-Op games, and some obscure games you’ve probably never heard of. They’ll even teach you how to play games you’re not familiar with!
When you come to play, make sure you come hungry. You’ll love their lunch, dinner, and snack options. Some of the things you’ll find on the menu include croissant sandwiches, flatbread pizzas, tacos, meat and cheese boards, spinach and artichoke dip, and salted pretzels. They also offer specialty beverages like frappes, smoothies, fruit lemonades, and milkshakes — plus they serve beer and wine.
Kids are always welcome at Table Talk SRQ, and children 10 and under play for free with the purchase of an adult’s play pass. If you visit the cafe frequently, you’ll want to take advantage of the 30-day pass. For $20 it gives you and a guest unlimited access for a whole month.
Not quite ready to mingle with others yet? Table Talk is also offering Private Café rentals. This includes 2 hours of private access to the entire café and the board game library for only $149. This option is great for birthdays, office parties, and families.

Socially Distanced Events
While we’re all focused on staying socially distant right now, sometimes you just need to get out of the house. If you’re feeling the need to (safely) socialize, check out their all-age-friendly trivia night, held every Thursday at 7 pm.
You’ll also want to take a look at their event calendar for monthly specials and upcoming events like Dungeons and Dragons and Game Tournaments. On the last Friday of every month at 6 pm they also have a SOLO Player meet-up, where you can come meet up with other Solo Players to play those games that require others to play.
All of their events do require reservations, so make sure you plan ahead. You’ll also want to follow them on Facebook so you can keep up with the latest happenings.
Table Talk SRQ Boardgame Cafe is located at 3999 Cortez Rd W Bradenton FL 34210 (across the street from the Bowlero bowling alley in the Wildewood Shopping Center). They’re open Wednesday through Saturday from 12 pm to 10 pm and on Sundays from 12 pm to 6 pm.
