Don’t Miss Manatee Habitat’s 30th Anniversary ’90s Bash!

Break out your scrunchies and flannel — it’s time for a ’90s-themed party you don’t want to miss! The Manatee County Habitat for Humanity is throwing a FREE, family-friendly celebration to mark their 30th anniversary – thanks to the generous sponsorship of Herald-Tribune/LocaliQ.

The festivities will take place on Saturday, February 8th, from 10 AM to 3 PM in the parking lot of the Manatee Performing Arts Center (401 7th Street West, Bradenton).

Party Like It’s 1994! 

Whether you’re reliving the ’90s or experiencing it for the first time, this event has something for everyone. Here’s what’s in store:

  • Dance ”til you drop: A live DJ will be spinning all your favorite 90s hits all day long. 
  • Shop local: Over 30 unique vendors will be offering handmade crafts, art, and gifts. Including featured vendors Wuthering Lights Candle and Body and Canvas and Clay Art Studio. It’s the perfect opportunity to support small businesses and find something special.
  • Family-friendly fun: The Kids’ Zone promises interactive games, face painting, and activities that’ll keep the little ones entertained.
  • Delicious treats: Enjoy tasty bites from local favorites, including:
    • Pee Wee’s Canteen
    • Nas Philly Steaks
    • M&M Thai and Sushi
    • Jeremiah’s Italian Ice
    • And more!
  • The Humane Society of Manatee County will have adorable, adoptable pets on-site and ready to meet you.

For 30 years, Manatee Habitat for Humanity has been building homes, communities, and hope right here in Bradenton. To date, they’ve built and sold 165 homes to families in need, empowering them to create brighter futures. Their vision is simple yet powerful: creating a world where everyone has a decent place to live. This milestone celebration is a way for Habitat to give back to the community that has supported them for decades.

Get Your ’90s Groove On — Costumes Encouraged!

Guests are encouraged to show up in their best ’90s attire. Whether you’re rocking neon windbreakers, grunge flannel, or a Clueless-inspired outfit, it’s your time to shine. Bonus points for banana clips or a Walkman!

Make a Day of It in Downtown Bradenton

With the Saturday Public Market happening just a short walk away, Saturday is the perfect day to spend some time in downtown Bradenton. Pick up fresh local produce, grab a coffee, and then head over to the party for even more fun. It’s a great way to soak up the vibrant community spirit.
