Are you one of the 50% of people who resolved to improve their health in the New Year? If so, you’re not alone! Whether you want to eat better, lose that “quarantine 15,” or cut back on stress, there’s a fun way to do it! Here’s a look at some of the best health and wellness options in Bradenton.Â
1. Robinson Runners
There are few things simpler than lacing up your sneakers and heading out for a run. Joining Robinson Runners will give you a chance to get out in the fresh air, challenge yourself, and join a community of like-minded people as you walk, run, or stroll through Bradenton’s beautiful Robinson Preserve.
You’ll have the chance to participate in an instructor-led group warm-up before you head out, and after you’re done, there will be a cool-down and treat offered by Fit2Run, The Runner’s Superstore, and Bayshore Nutrition. This program is FREE and open to the public. The group meets at The NEST at Robinson Preserve every Saturday at 8 am.
2. Goat Yoga
Whether you’re an experienced yogi or you’ve never done a “downward dog” in your life – there’s nothing quite like doing yoga on a farm with goats!
Serenity Oaks Homestead and Wild Orchid Fitness host Goat Yoga classes on select Saturdays. It’s open to all levels and no experience is necessary. After class, you’re welcome to hang out for a while to cuddle with the goats and take photos.
3. Fit Crew
If you’re serious about your fitness goals and you want to take things to a whole new level, Fit Crew might be right for you. They offer performance-based fitness with group classes, sport-specific training, open gym, personal training, and nutrition services. It’s the largest non-commercial gym in Bradenton and has been voted “best fitness center” in the Bradenton Herald People’s Choice Awards for the past four years.
