In case you’re not already aware, Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement that was created back in 2012 with a simple idea – designating a day that encourages people to do good. It has now grown into an enormous movement that has inspired hundreds of millions of people to make donations, collaborate with nonprofit organizations, and celebrate generosity.
While making a donation to your favorite nonprofit is an awesome idea (and we hope you’ll consider doing so!) there are also other ways to celebrate the day. Whether you help out a neighbor, bring attention to a cause or issue you care about, or simply smile at a stranger, there’s something everyone can do to make the world a better and brighter place.

Double Your Donation!
Have a few dollars you can spare? You may be able to double your donation! Thanks to the generosity of the Louis & Gloria Flanzer Philanthropic Trust Match Program, many of our local organizations are eligible to receive matching funds. All you need to do is visit the Flanzer Trust website, choose any donation amount between $5 and $500, and choose your preferred organization from the drop-down menu. Once you complete your payment, the organization will receive double the amount!
