As life becomes increasingly chaotic and stressful, our mental and physical health can suffer.
Crystal Scherer, owner of downtown Bradenton’s new High Vibe Studio, is aiming to help combat that by creating a quiet, safe space where all types of people can relax and reset. The new studio, which is located in Jennings Arcade on Old Main Street (417 12th St W, Suite 120), celebrated its grand opening on June 3rd. Here you’ll find a variety of yoga classes, high-intensity interval training (HIIT), and bi-weekly workshops.
I attended High Vibe’s open house this weekend and had a chance to ask Crystal some questions about the studio, her background, and what we can expect to see over the coming months.

The Inspiration Behind High Vibe Studio
After eight years of working as a child welfare social worker, Crystal realized that compassion fatigue was setting in and she was burning out. Knowing she needed a major change, she quit her job and headed to Passion Yoga School in Costa Rica for a three-week intensive yoga training program. During this time, she lived on a permaculture farm in the middle of the jungle where she studied yoga and lived in silence for 13 hours a day. She emerged from the jungle feeling like a different person and felt a calling to share her passion for yoga with others.
Back in Bradenton, Crystal immersed herself in the area’s already thriving yoga community. Although her original goal was not to open her own studio, she couldn’t shake her vision of the space she wanted to create. Inspired by the support of other local business women, when presented with the opportunity to open a studio in downtown Bradenton, she decided to take the leap.
Crystal says she loves the fact that the downtown area has started to embrace healthy living, and she looks forward to creating a comfortable and relaxing space that makes yoga accessible to everyone.

High Vibe Studio is more than a yoga studio and more than a retail shop. It’s a place where people from all walks of life can come together and connect.
