If you’re into the sun, the sea, anchors, boats, and everything nautical and marine, then this is the event for you.
The Florida Maritime Museum and Cortez Cultural Center will be hosting its Annual Cortez Nautical Flea Market, a FREE Family Fun Event, where you will get to enjoy tons of deals on old, used, or new maritime treasures. Vendors will be there to showcase their collection of fishing supplies, powerboat equipment diving, and sailing gear. Take note, some items will be up for sale while some are for trade. So bring your family and friends and shop to your heart’s content. Plan to relax and take your time so you can also enjoy live music brought to you by the Treble Hook’s Florida Folk and Medicine Show.
This event will be held on Saturday, October 23rd from 8 am to 12 pm outside the Florida Maritime Museum, located at 4415 119th Street West in the historic fishing village of Cortez. Note that the museum will be closed that day. Parking will be available at F.I.S.H. Preserve located on Cortez Road next to the Cortez Cultural Center, directly east of the Florida Maritime Museum

Spots are limited and registration is only open until October 12th. Vendors’ fees will be $35 each. Nautical Art & Craft vendors are also welcome at the Cortez Village Cultural Center.
