Manatee County families, we’ve got exciting news for you! The Bradenton Kiwanis Club is launching a new family-focused initiative – The Kiwanis Club of Manatee River. This isn’t your typical Kiwanis club – it’s an opportunity for families, homeschool students, and private school students to come together, learn, and give back to their community.

If you’ve ever heard of K-Kids, Builders Club, and Key Club, you already have an idea of the types of service leadership programs you can expect from Kiwanis. This new club will feature programs for every student’s need and grade level and focus on family engagement and volunteering.

The best part? Adult and student meetings are held simultaneously, allowing families to collaborate on community service ideas and projects, all at one convenient time and location.

Join the Kickoff Meeting on July 12th!

Ready to dive in, or maybe just curious? The club is kicking off with an open house meeting on July 12, 2023 at the Manatee Performing Arts Center, located at 502 3rd Ave W, Bradenton, FL 34205.

The event will begin at 3:30 pm with a service project. The informational meeting will begin at 4 pm, and kids are welcome to continue with their projects while the adults attend the meeting.

This is a unique chance for families to discover how Kiwanis can support their family’s growth while giving back to the community.
