Nonprofit Spotlight: Starting Pointe Recovery

There are many nonprofit organizations in Bradenton and the surrounding area. Each one is doing incredible work to support our community by helping those less fortunate, promoting the arts, providing education, and more.

During our nonprofit spotlight series, we’ll highlight information about a different local nonprofit each week. This week, we were thrilled to chat with Starting Pointe Recovery to learn more about their mission and how we can help. Here’s what they had to say.

Can you tell us a little bit about your mission and how you help to support our community?

Starting Pointe Recovery provides personalized care and support for individuals overcoming substance use disorders. Our Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Clinic offers evidence-based treatments, including FDA-approved medications like buprenorphine and naltrexone, combined with counseling and therapy to help individuals achieve lasting recovery.

With a compassionate team of healthcare professionals, we’re dedicated to guiding our clients through every step of their journey toward a healthier, substance-free life.

Can you describe a few of your key programs?

We offer:

  • Medication evaluation and monitoring
  • Individualized treatment planning
  • Counseling and therapy
  • Family education and support
  • Relapse prevention and aftercare

What’s the best way our community can help?

By contributing to our project, you contribute to the well-being of someone struggling with addiction. You are helping Starting Pointe Recovery reach those who cannot afford treatment and desperately want treatment. All donations will go to individuals who are uninsured or underinsured.
