When I first visited Scuderia Italian Cuisine, I wanted to taste as much as I could on the first visit, since everything on the menu seemed to be a favorite of mine. My guest and I started with an order of the Calamari, which is flash fried and served with their homemade marinara sauce.
As we were halfway through our appetizer, Chef Chris came out and offered us a serving of their cheese pizza. It was a nice surprise, and the crust had baked-in seasonings that give it an extra tasty touch.
I asked for a recommendation from the server for my entrée and he was quick to point out their Chicken Marsala. I didn’t hesitate and went with it. What he brought out was probably the most flavorful Marsala Chicken that I have tasted. The chicken was tender and juicy and all the sauce was some of the most flavorful I have ever had.
We also ordered a Deconstructed Lasagna, which basically gives you the pasta of your choice with marinara sauce, ground beef and sausage topped with mozzarella cheese. It’s basically a lasagna bowl – so much food and so delicious.
You’re right if you think that was more than enough food. We were happy to pack all of the leftovers, but I still wanted dessert. They have a great selection including Traditional or Hazelnut Cannoli, Tiramisu, Cheesecake (from the Cheesecake Cutie in AMI) and a Cannoli Mug.
I went with the mug. Let me tell you that this dessert is for sharing but I was happy to finish it all by myself. It’s literally a large mug filled with layer upon layer of cannoli cream, fresh fruits, fresh cream and cannoli shells. Maybe we can start with this next time!
Our choices on another visit included Prosciutto Flatbread, Eggplant Parmesan, and Pasta Bolognese. Eggplant Parmesan is really my measure for an Italian restaurant – everyone has it and it has to be fresh and well prepared. I’m happy to report that I loved this version. We’ve had very friendly and personable service each time we visited Scuderia Italian Cuisine, and the food has been outstanding every time.
