1. February Artwalk: Sounds of the Village

Friday, February 4th from 6 pm to 9:30 pm and Saturday, February 5th from 11 am to 4 pm

What better way to start February than a visit to the February Artwalk at Bradenton’s Village of the Arts?

The theme for this month’s event is Sounds of the Village. Come and enjoy the art, food, music and everything VOTA has to offer. If you’re looking for something fun to do, you’re sure to have a great time here.


2. Bradenton Cigar Box Festival

Friday, February 4th through Sunday, February 6th
Multiple Locations

You won’t want to miss the 2nd annual Bradenton Cigar Box Guitar Festival during Art Walk weekend in the Village of the Arts. This event is presented by The American Cigar Box Guitar Association and Cottonmouth Southern Soul Kitchen.

There will be live music in multiple locations all weekend long. Check out the music lineup and mark your calendars so you don’t miss a thing!


3. Chaplin: The Musical

Charlie Chaplin was one of the world’s most loved and famous entertainers. Visit the Manatee Performing Arts Center for a captivating close-up of the man who changed motion pictures forever. If you’re a fan of musicals, you definitely don’t want to miss this one.

4. Movie in the Park

Friday, February 4th from 6 pm to 9 pm

What’s better than movie night? Enjoying it outdoors in the park!

Round up the kids and pack some blankets and chairs then head out to Sutton Park to watch Disney’s The Jungle Cruise. This event is presented by the Palmetto Community Redevelopment Agency and is free for everyone to enjoy. Snacks and drinks will be provided by Waste Management inc., but you are also welcome to bring your food (no alcohol allowed).


5. Succulent Art and Carport Sale

Friday, February 4th, and Saturday, February 5th from 8 am to 3 pm

Looking for a unique Valentine’s Day gift that will last forever? Check out ArtbyCmac’s February Art and Succulent carport sale. This local artist will be selling plants from $1, arrangements from $5, plant pedestals, yard art made of ceramics and glassware, and original artwork including prints and originals.

6. Yoga with the Manatees

1st and 4th Sundays of the Month at 10 am
The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature: 201 10th St W, Bradenton, FL 34205

This just may be the most unusual and exciting yoga class yet! The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature is now hosting Manatee Yoga on the first and fourth Sundays of each month!

Adults can enjoy tranquil views of the manatees being cared for in the Parker Manatee Rehabilitation Habitat while engaging in yoga poses focused on balance, flexibility, and strength. The weeks will alternate between Gentle and Power Yoga. Class size is limited to 15. You can REGISTER HERE.


7. Fused Glass Classes

Have you ever wished you could make gorgeous glass creations like you see at Witchgrass Studio? Join studio owner and artist Harriet Harris for a Fused Glass Class. This is guaranteed to be a fun afternoon activity filled with color and light!

10. Charcuterie Workshop

11. Little Anglers Fishing Tournament

Let your kids try out their skills at the Little Anglers Fishing Tournament hosted by Hernando De Soto Historical Society at the Green Bridge Fishing Pier on February 12th.
