After taking a pause on social activities, many of us are anxious to find some fun things to do in Bradenton this month. While things are definitely different, many local businesses are starting to open back up with a renewed focus on sanitizing, social distancing, and taking other precautions to keep their staff and customers as safe as possible.

This month, we’ve done our best to find activities and events in Bradenton that are held outdoors or have plenty of space to maintain distancing. With that being said, here’s our round-up of 15 Cool Things to Do in Bradenton in July.

1. Beach Market at Coquina Beach

Every Wednesday and Sunday 10 am – 4 pm (Excluding July 5th)

Things to Do Anna Maria Island

With tons of interesting vendors and a gorgeous view, you can’t beat shopping at the Beach Market at Coquina Beach. There’s plenty of shade, free parking, and you can even ride the trolly there for free!

This internationally-famous market has 50 to 80 vendors in the summer, offering things like  local art, crafts, woodworking, yard art, metal art, tikis, furniture, photography, jewelry, home decor, gourmet food, produce, gift ideas, a caricature artist, and much, much more!. Learn more here.


2. Glam Glass Class at Gypsea Soul

Girls Night just got so much better!

Grab your best girls and a bottle of wine and head over to Gypsea Soul because this is a class you don’t want to miss! Dig through piles of fossils, shells, gems, beads & more. Select a frame and the artist instructors will assist you in creating an 8×10 resin mosaic-style creation that reflects your unique creativity!

3. Karaoke at Kava Social Club

Kava Social Club is one of the newest kava bars in Bradenton. We love their downtown location and you can expect to see a lot of cool stuff coming from them in the near future!

If karaoke is your thing, you’ll definitely want to head over on Wednesday nights for “Sing for Your Shell Karaoke” — all participants will get a free kava shell! This is guaranteed to make your hump days so much better!

4. July Artwalk Weekend: Mermaids

The Village of the Arts Artwalk weekend is back! This month’s theme is “Mermaids.”

These vibrant monthly artwalks are held the first Friday night and Saturday afternoon of every month. This is the perfect opportunity to discover unique galleries, studios, specialty shops, healing arts, food, and music. Opening receptions for new shows, special guests throughout the Village, and live music are all a part of artwalk weekends. 5. Bamboozer Island Bar: Soft Opening

Bam Boozer Daquiri Bar Downtown Bradenton

Downtown Bradenton is getting a daiquiri bar, and we can’t wait! Bamboozer Island Bar is taking over the site where the Old Main Pub used to be. They’re holding off on the grand opening until COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted, but you can check it out starting on Friday, July 3rd! They’ll be following all CDC guidelines and maintaining social distancing.

The bar will feature a wall of frozen drinks, local art inside and out, pool tables, and more.

6. Beach Yoga on Anna Maria Island

With all the craziness going on in the world right now, there are few things better than heading out to the island for a donation-based, all-levels yoga class led by instructors from Thrive Yoga & Fitness.

7. Spin Saturday at Adobe Graffiti Lounge
