Thrive Yoga & Fitness is Expanding!

yoga studio in bradenton

Long known as both a yoga studio and a healing center, Thrive Yoga and Fitness is expanding into the space next door. Studio owner Erin Geraghty is excited to offer a wide variety of new classes and to share the studio’s vision of helping to guide each student through his or her unique journey. Here’s a sneak preview of some of the ways the new studio will help its students thrive.

New Yoga Classes

In addition to the already well-rounded lineup, Thrive is now offering even more classes at special discounted rates. Some of the exciting new options will include “spicy yoga”, chair yoga, and kid’s yoga. They’ll also offer martial arts classes for kids and adults and body alignment classes.

Thrive currently also offers Vinyassa yoga, Vinyassa flow, Gentle flow (beginner-friendly), Restorative gentle yoga, Yin Yoga, Yinergy for Enhanced Flexibility, and body rolling. They also offer donation-based Beach Yoga Classes on Anna Maria Island every Saturday and Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m next to the Sandbar Restaurant.

Healing and Empowerment

Thrive has always offered healing services from guided meditation and Reiki to tension pattern release and life coaching. Thanks to the new expansion, we can expect to see even more offerings including a meditation series and a life coaching series.

Exciting Workshops

Students who want to expand their knowledge, create a deeper connection with their yoga practice, or learn a new skill will love Thrive’s events and workshops. Past workshops included topics like “Yin And Yogic Philosophy” and “Loving and Healing Your Inner Child.” Thrive also recently hosted an Arm Balance Workshop and Yoga Nidra Workshop.

Coming up next is a Women’s Self Defense Workshop on August 17th (P.S. – this was also featured in Discover Bradenton’s 25 Cool Things to do in August!)

Looking for an even deeper experience? Check out the upcoming Awakening Yoga & Wellness Retreat, which will be held in Riveria Maya, Mexico in September. Keep an eye on the Thrive Yoga & Fitness Facebook Page to learn about their newest workshops and events as soon as they’re scheduled.

Yoga Teacher Training

Those interested in becoming a certified yoga teacher can also turn to Thrive for their training. This unique, life-changing experience begins again in February of 2020. You can learn more here.

A True Yoga Community

Since Thrive Yoga and Fitness opened its doors in 2014, Erin had a vision of not only opening a yoga studio where people could come and get a good workout but also creating a spiritual, loving community and a healing center. She’s succeeded at creating a place that’s known for love and acceptance, kindness, and peace. At Thrive, students of all types are welcomed and loved, regardless of experience level, body type, color, or orientation.

They teach authentic yoga, not just stretching. The studio is beginner-friendly and also suitable for the advanced yogi. Every teacher strives to guide their students through the difficult parts of themselves as they experience their own unique journeys.

Celebrate Thrive’s Expansion!

To celebrate their new space, Thrive is hosting an event at their studio on August 24th from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. This free, kid-friendly event will feature free food, raffle prizes, and free demos of the new classes. Thrive is located at 8811 and 8819 Cortez Rd. W. in Bradenton.
