Manatee County Fair’s 2020 Doggy Pageant: Does Your Pup Have What it Takes to Win?

The 2020 Doggy Pageant is coming up, and now is your chance to prove once and for all that your dog really is the best!

On Saturday, January 18th at 1:30 p.m., pups from all walks of life (and their owners) will gather in the main auditorium of the Manatee County Fairgrounds to strut their stuff and compete for awesome prizes. Does your dog have what it takes to be a winner?

There are plenty of opportunities for your pooch to show off! Here are the categories for this year’s pageant:

3 Size Categories
Small (under 25 pounds), Medium (25 – 50 pounds), and Large (51 + Pounds)

  • Overall Beauty (Mandatory for all entries)
  • Best Attire (optional)
  • Best Smile (optional)
  • Prettiest Eyes (optional)
  • Best Hair (optional)
  • Best Stage/Runway Walk (optional)
  • Most Photogenic (optional, up to 3 entries)

SUPER-DUPER Competition 
(Includes Dogs of All Sizes)

  • Overall Beauty (Mandatory for all entries)
  • Best Attire (optional)
  • Best Smile (optional)
  • Prettiest Eyes (optional)
  • Best Hair (optional)
  • Best Stage/Runway Walk (optional)
  • Most Photogenic (optional, up to 3 entries)

Winning dogs will be presented with a winner’s banner or winner’s ribbon and super-cool prizes donated by the pageant’s sponsors! 

If you want to enter your dog, you’ll need to submit your application and your dog’s vaccination records no later than 5 pm on January 16th (Sorry, no exceptions!). Also note that registrations will not be allowed on the day of the event. You can read the rules and download your registration form by CLICKING HERE.

The Doggie Pageant is a fun-loving event that was created to raise funds to provide scholarships for the Manatee County Fair Queens.
