Friendly City Foundation

Equity + Equal Opportunity

Friendly City Foundation exists to cultivate business opportunities for makers, musicians, and creatives of the Bradenton/Sarasota area regardless of race, gender, age, socioeconomic, or ethnic background in an inclusive entrepreneurial network of like-minded friends and resources.

The Friendly City Foundation is creating relevant and accessible opportunities for emerging and underestimated communities in Bradenton/Sarasota. Through restorative entrepreneurship and redemptive mentoring, we create deeper and tighter networks of high-velocity individuals.

We create equity in our community for those who learn, live, work, and play to have positions of influence and place.

Great organization in supporting the Celtic culture in the area. Provides scholarships for those that apply for the Celtic arts and athletics.

Finally a united group that will be the host our local Scottish Highland Games!! Many of us are looking forward to the inaugural event that will be held on Saturday Feb 10th at the Manatee County Fairgrounds in Palmetto FL. A much larger venue than the Sarasota Fairgrounds!! I understand there will be a pipe band competition and a challenge between the Manatee County Sheriff's office and the EMT's in the actual Highland Games competition. See you in February!!

Once a PACE girl, always a PACE girl. Being part of PACE Center for Girls' first graduating class was transformative. PACE provided unwavering support during challenging times, boosting my confidence and helping me discover my true potential. The staff's personalized attention and encouragement were instrumental in overcoming obstacles and achieving academic success. PACE is more than an institution; it's a caring community that goes beyond academics. Thank you, PACE Center for Girls, for making a profound difference in my life.
