As the city of Bradenton continues to evolve and expand, new resources are popping up to support the area’s changes. One of the most exciting is downtown’s flexible workspace: Connect! Bradenton.
This innovative office space supports entrepreneurs and small business owners in a multitude of ways. From virtual offices and shared workspaces to event space rentals, it gives you the power to work the way you want. Even more importantly, the management and staff work hard to foster a sense of community and support prosperity and opportunity through marketing, events, arts, culture.
Whether you’re a home-based entrepreneur, network marketer, or a business professional who wants to keep your overhead low, Connect! Bradenton offers an array of services to meet your needs. Best of all, the pricing is super-reasonable, so their services are accessible to even the smallest of businesses.
Day passes start at just $25! This convenient option includes open seating in a shared space, secure WiFi with VPN, and beverage service. Other options include a virtual office ($50/mo.), Coworking ($100/mo.), Reserved Desk (starting at $200/mo.) and a Private Office (starting at $800/mo.). Check out the details below:
Virtual office space is ideal for home-based business owners who need to present a more professional image. It’s the most flexible option and is well worth the small monthly fee. The ability to use Connect! Bradenton’s address gives you a downtown footprint. Your membership also includes a secure mailbox (in an old bank vault!), access to a receptionist, and client drop off and pick up services. You’ll also receive a 50% discount on meeting room rentals. If you have the need for a meeting room at least three hours a month, this membership will pay for itself.
Although working from home is great, sometimes your house doesn’t provide the most productive work environment. If you’re sick of spending your time working in coffee shops, then a co-working arrangement might be perfect for you. It’s also great for those who want to collaborate in-person with their clients or business partners.
A co-working membership includes open seating in a shared space, secure WiFi with VPN, access to a receptionist, client drop-off and pick-up services, beverage service, 5 hours per month of meeting room access, and a discount on additional meeting room hours.
If you’re easily distracted or prefer a quieter space, then consider a reserved desk. This option is great for solo entrepreneurs and satellite employees who want to work in a professional environment without the high overhead of an office rental.
Membership includes all the perks of the co-working membership as well as a reserved desk in a noise-abated area, mail services, and printing services for up to 200 pages per month.
Are you ready for your own office space, but not ready for the big price tag? Connect! Bradenton is the perfect place to get started. This membership option gives you a private space with an executive desk where you can conduct secure business. It also includes all the perks that come with a reserved desk membership.
Connect! Bradenton also has an on-site, sound-abated studio that’s perfect for photography, videography, vlogging, and podcasts.
Meeting Rooms and Event Space
Both members and non-members have the option of renting meeting rooms or hosting events at Connect! Bradenton. Simply talk to them about what you need, and they’ll help you make it happen. The space can accommodate up to 40 people and they’ll help you work with local partners to arrange beverage services and catering.
This is also an excellent option for network marketers (MLM businesses) who want a safe and comfortable space to demonstrate their goods or services.
Successful Professional Alliance Network (SPAN) Networking
Connect! Bradenton is also home to the FREE open-networking group, Successful Professional Alliance Network (SPAN). This group of professionals meets every Thursday morning from 9 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. It’s open to Connect! members and the general public. You can learn more about this active and engaged group by visiting their Facebook page.
When the founder and “Senior Doer” of Connect Bradenton, Bernie Croghan, recently retired, he was replaced by self-proclaimed “Macro Manager” Wade Hamilton. A Bradenton native with a forward-thinking vision, Wade brings new energy and creativity to this already-exciting concept.
You might have heard of some of Wade’s other projects. He and his business partner Morgan Bettes are the brains behind locally-based live music, entertainment, & event coordination company Independent Jones. They play a major part in local events including Main Street Live in Downtown Bradenton, Music on Main in Lakewood Ranch, and the SRQ Margarita Festival in Sarasota.
In addition to providing support for entrepreneurs and business owners, Connect! Bradenton is also focused on using the space to create exciting cultural and entertainment opportunities. Their lobby currently doubles as an art gallery featuring a collective of photographs from Big Bolt Media. These amateur and professional photographers have captured stunning images of storms, sunsets, and nature which add another creative element to the space.
Keep an eye out for more events coming soon, including “Rush Hour” concerts, music events, monthly networking mixers, an entrepreneur’s business fair, a comedy club night, & a secondhand fashion show.
