When Stephen Boyes and Holly Dunn decided to open a new yoga studio in downtown Bradenton, they knew they wanted to do something different. Both share a profound belief that everybody (and every body) can benefit from yoga in some way. Their vision was to create a truly accessible studio that would double as a cool and friendly community space.
From this vision, Every Body Yoga was born. The studio opened in February and is already becoming a favorite among both seasoned yogis and beginners interested in dipping their toes into the yoga lifestyle.
Yoga Classes for Every Body
When you take a look at their class schedule, you can see their vision coming to life. They’ve designed their offerings to appeal to a wide range of students, with classes ranging from beginner-friendly gentle flow to sweat-inducing “power-hours.” You’ll find a variety of class times available as well. Whether you prefer morning classes, have 30 minutes to squeeze in some yoga during your lunch hour, or you want to wind down after a long day of work, they’ve got you covered.
They also worked hard to put together a dream team of skilled instructors that come from different backgrounds, specialize in different types of yoga, and have experience working with students with different skill levels and body types.
The studio’s accessibility addresses financial issues as well. Holly and Stephen believe that no one should be excluded from yoga due to a lack of funds. The studio offers a variety of reasonably priced class packages and sliding-scale pricing for those who apply and provide the necessary documentation.
There’s also a Karma Wall, where folks can buy class passes and offer them up to the community. To take advantage of this, an individual can simply email everybodyyogabradenton@gmail.com and tell them how you’ll pay it forward.
Downtown Space That’s a Dream Come True
After searching for a convenient, centrally located space that could accommodate their needs, Stephen and Holly were thrilled to find their current location – a renovated industrial building with 14-foot ceilings, lots of windows, and a beautiful floor-to-ceiling interior brick wall.
Every Body Yoga is located at 424 9th St. E., in the same building as the Pelots Pharmacy and across the street from Lightworks, Farmhouse Donuts, and the soon-to-be-open Oscura. This is one of Bradenton’s most up-and-coming neighborhoods and you can expect to find even more trendy hotspots popping up nearby.
