1. Sunday Soul Sessions

Introducing Bradenton’s newest concert series: Sunday Soul Sessions! This month’s event features Kat Riggins and her band Blues Revival performing a high-energy mix of blues and soul.

Soul Sessions will be held on the first Sunday of every month until June 7th and will feature different live musical artists and venues each month.

2. Lost Kangaroo’s Chili Cookoff Superbowl Party

Do you have what it takes to become this year’s Lost Kangaroo Chili Champion? Bust out your crockpot and give it a shot!

7. Bradenton River Regatta

Saturday, February 8th beginning at 10 am

You definitely don’t want to miss the 6th annual Bradenton Area River Regatta. This action-packed day features FAST boats, awesome fireworks, and a full day of FREE family-friendly fun!

8. The Ultimate Helicopter Doors-Off Experience

What better way to end a day at the River Regatta than by heading over to Bradenton’s Old Main Street for the city’s best block party — the February edition of Main Street Live.

10. Live Jazz Brunch

On the second Sunday of every month, Mattison’s Riverwalk Grille hosts a Live Jazz Brunch featuring popular musicians, an incredible menu, Mimosas, Bellinis, and build-your-own Bloody Marys.

11. Hillbilly Gospel Brunch (Sweetheart Edition)

Grab the love of your life (or a friend) and head over to Bird Rock Taco Shack in the Village of the Arts to hear the Brown Bag Brass Band play during the “Sweetheart Edition” of Hilbilly Gospel Brunch.

This New-Orleans-inspired band out of Orlando, FL brings you a collection of “good time party music” including brass band, funk, blues, rock-n-roll, and jazz. Pair this with a delicious brunch featuring chef David Shiplett’s “flavor-forward food” and you’ve got yourself the perfect Sunday.

13. Yoga at the Market

Saturday, February 15th at 10:45 am
Downtown Bradenton Farmer’s Market: Old Main Street

Join High Vibe Studio and Trading Company at the Downtown Bradenton Farmer’s Market on the third Saturday of every month for a 30-minute BEGINNER-FRIENDLY Flow Yoga Class.

The class meets at the south end of the Farmer’s Market. In the case of rain, it will be moved into the studio (located in Jennings Arcade). Although there is no charge for this class, there is a suggested $5 donation. Bring your own mat.

14. Pittsburgh Pirates Pep Rally

Saturday, February 15th from 5 pm until 9 pm

If you’re a baseball fan, you definitely won’t want to miss the Pittsburgh Pirates Pep Rally in downtown Bradenton!

This FREE public event will feature live music by Yesterdaze, a photo booth, face painter, and a live autograph session with the players!

15. 38th Annual Cortez Commercial Fishing Festival

Saturday, February 15th from 10 am until 6 pm and Sunday, February 16th from 10 am until 6 pm
Cortez, FL.

Come out to the Cortez fishing village and celebrate the area’s longstanding nautical traditions. During the two day Cortez Commercial Fishing Festival there will be live music, great food, artists, and vendors.

While you’re there, you’ll also have a chance to visit the Florida Maritime Museum and the Cortez Cultural Center. You can also get up-close and personal with the critters on display at the touch tanks on the loading docks at Killer Bait.

16. Valentines Craft Beer and Gourmet Chocolate Pairing

19. Fine Arts Festival of Manatee County

20. “The Child” at Painting With a Twist

This year, the Hernando DeSoto Historical Society has renamed and relocated their popular festival. The all-new DeSoto Food & Music Festival will now be held at Nathan Benderson Park.

24. Cornhole and Cocktails Festival

Cornhole, cocktails, AND supporting a great cause?! What’s not to love?! Join Kiwanis Against Hunger for their first annual fundraiser.

25. Family Fun Day at Maker’s Market

On Saturday the 29th, Makers Market hosts two “Family Fun Classes” appropriate for kids age 5 and up. There are a ton of fun projects to choose from (take a look at their gallery) and you don’t need ANY experience to create something you’ll love!
