4. Bradenton Farmer’s Market

It’s time for the Bradenton Farmer’s Market time again! Come down for the first one of the season and pick up some fresh produce, pasta, bakery items, artisan goods and more! The Farmer’s Market creates a thriving community with their weekly chef’s demonstrations, local art, upbeat music, and family-friendly activities. Parking is free and leashed dogs are welcome!

5. Bradenton Veg Expo

6. Oktoberfest at Linger Lodge

7. Water Lantern Festival

The Water Lantern Festival was voted the #1 festival by USA Today, and it’s coming to Nathan Benderson Park! This is an amazing experience where family, friends, and strangers gather to celebrate life in a beautiful way. Enjoy food trucks, artists, music and family-friendly fun starting at 4 p.m. At 6 p.m. attendees will begin designing their lanterns, and the launch is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices go up as the event gets closer and it’s possible that this could sell out. 8. Relay Rally (Relay for Life Kickoff Party)

Join the American Cancer Society as they kick off their next Relay for Life season. The Relay Rally in the beer garden at Motorworks Brewing will include a cornhole tournament, luminary ceremony, raffle baskets, 50/50 raffle, and live music by Rye Road. 9. Tombstone Tours

Get ready for Halloween with a spooky Tombstone Tour. This walking tour will take you through the 1850 Manatee Burying Grounds by torchlight with a costumed guide. During the tour, your guide will explain the history of the burial grounds and the people buried there and explain details about why the tombstones look the way they do. Tickets are $20 per person, and the event may sell out, so you’ll want to get your tickets here today.
10. Kid’s Night Out

Looking for a fun way for the kids to burn off some energy? Kids Night Out at Star Academy Dance & Aerial Arts is it!
This event gives kids between the ages of 4 and 13 a chance to try out Aerial Silks and Lyra, learn a fun dance combo, and play lots of awesome games! The current students will also be there, learning new tricks and practicing their aerial skills. Drop your little ones off at 6:30 and pick them up at 8:45. 11. Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Festival

The locally-famous Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Festival runs every Saturday and Sunday from October 12th through the 27th. Visitors will enjoy live music, food, hayrides, a corn maze, chainsaw sculptor, face painting, a petting zoo, scarecrow displays, a rock climbing wall, a juggler, zip line and more! Tickets are $10 and parking is $5. Kids under 10 are free.
12. Corporate Ladder Oktoberfest

If you’re not ready to give up Oktoberfest yet, you’ll want to check out Corporate Ladder Brewing’s Oktoberfest Celebration! They’ll have authentic German food from the Schnitzel Trailer, beer hall games, and lots (and lots!) of beer! You’ll have the option of getting a half-liter or liter stein adorned with the Corporate Ladder logo.
Their two traditional side-pull Czech taps will feature Marzen and Festbier. Make sure to wear your traditional Oktoberfest garb, and you’ll receive a free beer!

14. Vintage Christmas Tree Painting

15. Bayfest 2019

16. Goose and Stewart Raising HOPE Halloween Bash

The holidays are right around the corner, and now it the perfect time to start thinking about ways to give back. It’s fun and easy to participate in the annual Stuff the Bus event to help wipe out hunger in Manatee County! On Sunday the 20th, school buses will be located in every Publix parking lot in Manatee County. This community event is held in conjunction with Mosaic, iHeartMedia, the Herald-Tribune, Publix, the United Way Suncoast, and The School District of Manatee County, Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee and The Food Bank of Manatee.
