One of Bradenton’s trendiest boutiques, Gypsea Soul, has recently expanded. Now, not only can you shop for unique home decor and gorgeous clothing and accessories, but you can also take art and creative classes, enjoy yoga, book private events, and even get your hair done in their upstairs salon!
Once a month, Gypsea Soul also holds a fabulous Outdoor Vintage & Artisan Market that’s been very popular among locals and visitors alike. Here’s what you need to know about this truly unique space in downtown Bradenton.
Creative Art Classes and Studio Space
The recently expanded art studio at Gypsea Soul is an experience in itself. This stunning space can accommodate up to 20 students and is perfect for hosting private events – like birthday parties, bachelorette events, and girls’ night out. It’s also a great option for families who want to do something crafty and fun, creating a one-of-a-kind souvenir while on vacation.
The projects feature a variety of art mediums like glass collage, crushed glass, resin, and more. The options are always changing since the studio offers both seasonal and coastal projects all year long.
No matter which option you choose, you’ll always bring home a gorgeous piece of artwork that you can proudly display in your home or give as a unique gift. You can also bring in your favorite foods and drinks to create a party-like atmosphere while you create your work of art.

Private parties are also available for groups of six or more and you can choose your project from all of the current class options. You’re welcome to bring your drinks and snacks for your guests or, for larger groups, you can have food platters and pitchers of margaritas or sangria catered by Gypsea Soul’s neighbor, Salt & Pepper Cafe.
Weekly Yoga Classes
In addition to the creative art classes, Gypsea Soul also hosts a weekly yoga class presented by Love’s Parden Yoga & Boutique. This all-level gentle yoga class begins with an intention card and meditation and finishes off with sound bowls for relaxation. It’s a total wellness experience that will make you feel blissfully renewed.

Gypsea Soul Salon
Whether you’re looking for stunning mermaid hair or a simple cut and color, you’ll love the results you’ll get from Stevie Louda, an expert hairstylist and colorist who provides her services in the upstairs salon and spa room. This space is also expanding and soon you’ll be able to pay them a visit for all of your beauty needs.
Outdoor Vintage & Artisan Market
On the third Saturday of each month from November through April, Gypsea Soul hosts an Outdoor Vintage & Artisan Market in their parking lot. Here you’ll find a wide selection of unique vintage items, works by local artists, jewelry, garden items, and more. There will also be fun art classes during the day.
The market is held from 10 am until 4 pm and the boutique opens at 11 am. There’s plenty of free parking available, so mark your calendars and make sure you stop by. If you can, also bring a cat food donation for their All Kitty Korner Food Drive.
A Legacy of Excellence and Creativity
Gypsea Soul’s owner, Ashley Louda, has an extensive background in both art and retail. She developed her passion for art from her grandmother, who was also an artist and used to bring her to the studio as a child.
Eventually, Ashley developed her own passion for the art world and never looked back. She owned a boutique in Venice, Florida for 15 years before deciding to put her full focus on Gypsea Soul.
Today, she spends the bulk of her time curating unique and eclectic items for the boutique, creating and teaching classes, and designing original artwork, furniture, and jewelry. She also makes custom shell mosaic decor, headboards, mirrors, bathtubs, fireplace mantles, and chandeliers.
