On March 3rd, Parkwood Dental is hosting a community outreach event called “Little Smiles, Lots of Fun.” During this family-friendly event, children under the age of 12 are welcome to receive a free exam, cleaning, and fluoride treatment. Of course, parental permission and supervision are required.
The kids can also look forward to enjoying face paintings, balloon animals, prizes from the Treasure Chest, and much more!
This 4th annual event is the follow-up for their “No Cavity November,” where dental hygienists from Parkwood Dental conducted a dental awareness community outreach effort to the Manatee County schools.
The event will be held at Parkwood Dental’s EAST office located at 5315 4th Ave Cir East off SR64. The event will run from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Dr. Hernandez and his team want to make “going to the dentist” something kids don’t have to fear. Visiting the dentist is important for kids, and if they forward to it, they’re more likely to continue doing it for the rest of their lives.
Dr. Hernandez and his team believe that early education is important for preventing childhood cavities and improving the dental habits of children. Their goal is to teach kids and inform their families that developing healthy dental habits is not only smart but fun!
