  • Sarasota Contemporary Dance – February 12: A stunning performance by Sarasota’s premier dance company, showcasing innovative choreography and breathtaking movement.

Backstage Tours 

Free monthly backstage tours give visitors a behind-the-scenes look at the costume shop, technical booth, and VIP lounge. If you’ve ever wondered what goes on before the curtain rises, this is your chance to find out.  

These FREE tours are typically held on the last Tuesday of each month at 11 am. You must sign up in advance and can book a spot by contacting pr@manateeperformingartscenter.com or calling 941-749-1111 x104.

Costume Rentals

Did you know you can also rent costumes from the MPAC? Whether you’re heading out to a themed party, community event, or school production, their extensive costume collection has something for every occasion. Rentals start at $40, and the process is simple — just contact the team to check availability and schedule a fitting. 

Youth and Adult Programs and Camps

MPAC offers a variety of educational programs for all ages, from young performers just starting out to seniors looking to inspire and entertain audiences. Their youth programs include acting workshops and musical theater camps. Those 55 and older can join MPAC’s DraMature performing troupe and participate in two bi-annual cabaret-style productions and multiple community outreach programs.
