July kicks off with some super exciting Independence Day events - but the fun doesn't stop there!

1. Red, White and Blueberry Celebration

Saturday, July 1st from 6 PM to 10 PM
Fiorelli Winery & Vineyard: 4250 Waterbury Road, Bradenton, FL

Celebrate America’s birth month with locally crafted wine, tasty foods, and live music at the Red, White and Blueberry Festival.

Head on out to Fiorelli Winery & Vineyard, where there’s fun for the whole family! Enjoy delicious food trucks, special drinks, craft vendors, pony rides, and live music by Santiago’s Solo Sounds.
The fireworks will start betwteen 9:30-9:45 pm

2. Independence Night at Bradenton Marauders

Monday, July 3rd at 5 pm
LECOM Park: 1611 9th St W, Bradenton, FL 34205

The Marauders are excited to celebrate Independence Day on July 3rd, 2023!! Join in on the fun as the
Bradenton Marauders take on the Clearwater Threshers at 6:30 PM at LECOM Park.

There will also be an incredible fireworks spectacular following the conclusion of the game!

The cost of admission will be $12 for the game and will include a Bradenton Marauders hat and a Pepsi drink voucher for the concession stand. Get your tickets here.


3. Red, White and Boom!

Tuesday, July 4th from 5 PM to 10 PM
The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature: 201 10th St W, Bradenton, FL

Looking for a great spot to watch the 4th of July fireworks? Head on over to Red, White, and BOOM! at The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature!

Grab a seat or bring your own blanket to their Riverside Plaza to get a front-row view of the fantastic fireworks display over the Manatee River. Willy-Yums will be selling delicious bites and you can also get a sweet treat from Kona Ice. There will also be a cash/card bar for adult beverages, soda, and water.

4. Make it, Take It

Every Thursday in July from 9:30 AM to 11 AM and 11:30 AM to 1 PM
Manatee County Agricultural Museum: 1015 6th Street West, Palmetto, FL 34221

Grab the kids and head out to a fun arts & crafts educational day at the Manatee County Agricultural Museum! “Make It, Take It” is an entertaining way for children to discover new things, have hands-on fun, join parent/self-guided learning activities, and complete projects. All sorts of crafts and activity stations will be placed around the entire Museum.

Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity for your kids to learn more about agriculture and spend quality time with them. This 1 – 1/2 hour experience will be held every Thursday, at 9:30 AM or 11:30 AM. The event is FREE, but pre-registration is required. Space is limited, so get your tickets now!


5. Mermaid Artwalk

Monthly Art Walks are one of Bradenton’s most popular events. July’s theme is “The Magical World of Mermaids.”

6. 13th and 13th Art Market

7. Sip n Sharp Objects Glass Class

If you’re looking for a great experience, you won’t want to miss these fun “Sip n Sharp Objects” Glass Classes at Witchgrass Studio!

In this class, you will start by creating a small piece, like a pendant or a mini-suncatcher, while learning about how to create art with glass. After your first piece, you will create either a 5″x5″ sun catcher or a 4″x6″ dish of your own design.

Projects are ready for pickup later in the week after they have been fired in the kiln a time or two at temperatures up to 1490F. Class is limited to 8 people each, so pick a date and reserve your spot now!


8. 4th Annual Cornhole and Cocktails Festival 2023

9. Jack Hartmann’s Final Concert at Mixons

Watch YouTube Sensation, Jack Hartmann at the Final Concert Ever at Mixon Fruit Farms.

Mixon’s doors will open at 10 AM, and the concert will start at 11 AM. The kids will also love to play all day in the amazing “Play Place,” where there will be large bounce houses, a sandbox, a 20ft inflatable slide, and much more. This event might sell fast, so get your tickets here.


10. MPAC Auditions for Fall Musicals

Sunday, July 9th and Monday, July 10th at 7 PM
Manatee Performing Arts Center: 502 Third Avenue W, Bradenton, FL

Are you dreaming of performing on stage? All talented performers are invited to come out and audition for the Fall Musicals at Manatee Performing Arts Center. They have four shows this fall – SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD, THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW, THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, and SHE LOVES ME, and they want you to join them!

Auditions will begin at 7 PM. Actors will start auditioning in the order they arrive. Prepare a song in your key and get ready for any movement portion that the director may require.

They also accept video auditions! For video submissions – please email them to Rick Kerby at artisticdirector@manateeperformingartscenter.com, no later than Friday, July 7th.

13. Be Fearless (Wonder Woman Collective)

14. Christmas in July at Mystic Mines
