We are a coalition serving the North River communities of Manatee County. Our mission is to create community partnerships to implement universal substance abuse prevention strategies to promote the health and safety of individuals across the lifespan; especially, among youth.
This new community coalition is doing great things! The director has formed a North River non-profit alliance to bring together the leaders of other non-profits to see how they can work together to benefit everyone living and working in the North River communities. They’ve started a youth coalition which brings together youth from schools in the North River communities to give them leadership opportunities and ways to have positive impacts on their peers.
