Bat City Comic Professionals is a 501(c)(3) educational non-profit organization building the next generation of superheroes. We help students improve their reading and writing skills through comics education. We create workshops, curriculum, and resources for in-house learning opportunities as well as schools and libraries across the country.
Bat City funds its non-profit goals by operating a brick-and-mortar comic bookstore in Bradenton, FL. We offer new, vintage and collectible comics, weekly comic subscriptions, specialty kids programming, and comic preservation services. Every purchase made in-store helps us to create more opportunities for our community.

This store is absolutely amazing! Bradenton needed a comic shop like this for so long, and now its here. The staff at this store is the best in the area. Everyone here is super nice, very knowledgeable, and a pleasure to chat with. I’ve been to the shop 3 times now (and I well be back many more times) and I’ve got 2 major grails I’ve been after for a very long time. The shop itself is great, awesome set up and a huge selection of all kinds of great stuff. Especially the comics, great comic everywhere! And there prices are gonna be hard to compete with, they sell below ebay prices while other shops sell above. I cant say enough good things about this store, I’m just totally amazed with this place. Everything from the vibe and atmosphere in this store is terrific, such a awesome staff. I read some reviews from there store in Texas, and the bradenton area is truly lucky these guys decided to call bradenton there new home. This shop is definitely a welcomed edition to the town and I wish them nothing but many many years of success. You guys are awesome and hands down the best!
You will not find a better shop anywhere close to Bat City, period.
From Modern to Golden Age they just might have it. Have questions? Not a problem, they have answers (the right ones to boot). There is no better place to call home, period. Also, need some pressing, they got you. Need comics graded, they can help here too.
If you are in the Bradenton area (living there or just passing through) this should be a place you frequent every chance you get.
