AMI Pup Rescue, Inc.

AMI Pup Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization dedicated to the care of unwanted, abandoned dogs in our crowded local shelters. We are located on Anna Maria Island (AMI) and serve the Bradenton community and surrounding areas.

AMI Pup Rescue saves homeless, neglected, abandoned, sick, injured, or abused animals from county shelters. We also find homes for dogs that hare surrendered by their owners when they are no longer able to care for them. For whatever reason, these dogs find themselves in need and deserve to have a second chance at life.

All dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped and vaccinated. Our partner veterinarians will give our dogs whatever medical care they need. We match the needs of our rescue dogs to their foster families and to potential adopters.

AMI Pup Rescue does not have a facility, rather, we depend on fosters in the local area to open their homes while the dogs are vetted. The more foster homes we have, the more dogs we can take into our rescue.

We operate on donations and 100% of the funds donated go directly to the care of our rescue dogs!

Finally a united group that will be the host our local Scottish Highland Games!! Many of us are looking forward to the inaugural event that will be held on Saturday Feb 10th at the Manatee County Fairgrounds in Palmetto FL. A much larger venue than the Sarasota Fairgrounds!! I understand there will be a pipe band competition and a challenge between the Manatee County Sheriff's office and the EMT's in the actual Highland Games competition. See you in February!!

Once a PACE girl, always a PACE girl. Being part of PACE Center for Girls' first graduating class was transformative. PACE provided unwavering support during challenging times, boosting my confidence and helping me discover my true potential. The staff's personalized attention and encouragement were instrumental in overcoming obstacles and achieving academic success. PACE is more than an institution; it's a caring community that goes beyond academics. Thank you, PACE Center for Girls, for making a profound difference in my life.
